Finally!!!

I'd like to welcome everybody to the renewed BonBone on Saturday (11:00-16:00) or Sunday (12:00-17:00), this upcoming weekend!

Everything will be new and it's all a consequence of combining the two of Helsinki's first dog boutiques BonBone and Le Petit Chien.

We have painted, organized, sweated very unladylikely, sewed, cleaned, unpacked, packed, ordered, panicked, planned, gotten slightly delusional cause of lack of sleep, glued, sawed, sanded,.. the list just goes on and on, but all was done to achieve what we can proudly represent on this Saturday.

New products, renewed and expanded shop, webshop and lots of other fun stuff, all in the same address in Ullanlinna, Helsinki.

New things coming up at BonBone!!!

I'm so thrilled about the new things at the shop!!
I'll keep the doors closed next week while there will be a renovation done. New products, new decorations, new window tapes, new... well.. everything! I can't tell more yet or show anything, but here's a little sneak a peek from a small detail.The opening party will be on 29.-30. of August (next week already!!) and everyone is invited. More about that one later too.

Eeek, collar-mania!!

Phew. Had a rather crappy beginning of the week. On Tuesday I was in tooth surgery to get my last wisdom tooth removed. It was bit trickier operation after the roots were attached to the nerves.

I'm a huge sissy when it comes to dentists so I asked for sedation before the operation so I have only little things that I remember about it. The hardest part wasn't the operation, but tha aftermath with the pain and the drugs. Got some codeine and that deffo doesn't suit me so I ended up throwing up all yesterday. Not fun. I left the codeine and manage quite well without it so I'm back to work now. My jaw is still bit swollen and I can't open my mouth properly but other than that, I have recovered quite well.

I started my workday by going to customs office to pick up a package from US and that totally saved my day. The package had the most prettiest dog collars in it!

Gekko got this Geek collar as he is such a geek sometimes :D

And this is absolutely adorable on Iines. I'm still thinking if I get that pink velvet leash too as a "holiday leash". I usually use leather leashes, but that pink is soooo cute! And feels so soft ♥

Maybe this set for Christmas?

Little visitor

One of my shops regular visitors, my friends jackrussel puppy Morris came to see me today and try on some new clothes as he also works as my shops model. We took some pics too to put on my shops website (not there yet, I'm lazy you know!). Here's some snaps of the handsome boy showing off.

Iines 5 years!

My darling little Iines turned 5 years yesterday.Menu of the b-day party:

*Self-made carrot-peanutbuttercake. Frosted with pink yoghurt and decoreted with dog bisquits, nonpareil and liver paté
*Dog bakery bisquits (in shape of b-day cake, pear and doughnut)
*Fresh apple slices
*Water

As a prezzies, she got new bright yellow rain coat and a cake shaped plush squeeky toy.

The last picture is after the party and playing with new toy when Iines still thought there was room in her tummy for more cake. ♥

Collarmania

Summer is soon here and that means no brown/grey/other boring colours anymore! In dog fashion it's the same deal and I have my eyes on these lovely collars that my lovely dogs definalitely need. See, even my dogs need these, not just want, need.
The martingale collar is perfect for bullterriers and other fat necked breeds. Normal buckle collar can easily slip through their heads. I always adjust the martingales so that they don't choke, only 1cm "choking" so it won't slip over their egg shaped heads.

This is my absolute favorite now. Cartoon collar with action phrases like "POW!" and "CRUNCH!" in it. It would make a lovely couple with this childrens spring jacket with similar print and bullies in it. I would post a picture of it, but copying from Seppäläs website is not possible.

This one is cool too. Perfect for geeks. Shame that the colour doesn't go very well with my white and dark brindle dogs. On blue or black it would go very nicely.

This in one of the must-haves too. It's so bright and fresh that my bullie boy Gekko is perfect for wearing it. Happy young boy with lots of tricks and boyish pranks on his sleeve and that orange lace is like a warning sign for those, who are tired and not for a mood for little shoe chewing.

This isn't actually a bright coloured spring collar, but it's from a new spring collection and I absolutely love it. Going to get these for both my dogs. It suits both white and dark brindle so for once I can wear matching collars on them.

Sneaker post

I had to come back after surfing around for pretty sneakers and share what I've found.

But first I post a picture of my dogs stylish boots in black and gold. They wear them if it's way too cold of if they have some cuts it their paws. And besides being super cool, they fit very well and either of my dogs don't mind wearing them which is a huge plus.



These ones are Reebok Lumberjack Series BB 5600 sneakers. I love the colours.

These seem to be everywhere now. Reebok Freestyle Reign Bows. I have my soft spot for pink, but I also like the orange ones and yellows too. And you can spot a bullie in one on those! The ones in the middle of front row, can you spot it?

Nike Dunk SB "Three Bears"
Colours are super, not sure about the fake fur and I prefer the high models instead of these mid ones. But it's hard to find pretty coloured sneakers, so these are in my top 10 now and I try to close my eyes on the fake fur.

I also should post pic of Converse All Stars Chunks here, in black ofcourse, since they are the best of the best but I think everyone knows what they look like. I will propably wear them always. I had them in fabulous houndstooth fabric before, but sadly they were worn out (like all my chunks after 1-2 years) and I don't think they are available anymore *sigh*
