Soup Monday

As I've been writing at the RainbowDash blog, I've got a serious spring fever. I've been getting up early in the morning, eaten mostly veggies and fruits and when I have had time I've been emptying my head with some light meditation.

Other than getting ready for upcoming summer shoe fashion, I'm busy busy busy. And super bored with my blog's header. Need to come up with something new.

I often feel like posting lots of stuff about my Gekko boy, but since I don't want this blog turn into a dog blog, I finally did what I have planned for a while now, opened an own blog for him.

New things coming up at BonBone!!!

I'm so thrilled about the new things at the shop!!
I'll keep the doors closed next week while there will be a renovation done. New products, new decorations, new window tapes, new... well.. everything! I can't tell more yet or show anything, but here's a little sneak a peek from a small detail.The opening party will be on 29.-30. of August (next week already!!) and everyone is invited. More about that one later too.

Happy Gekko. Having his favorite person A as a guest and also he wasn't told to get off the bed like usually. Yeah I know, not fair but the hangover was so horrible that even thinking about Gekko's rules in the house was too much to ask.All pics by A, except the last one.

Opioid ant

Last weekend was one of the most horrible ones I've ever experienced. My little ant boy suddenly got so sick, that he had to be taken in to animal hospital's intensive care unit. He was in huge pain and no vet seemed to find out what was wrong with him.

I got him home yesterday evening and today we have stayed home recovering. I feel like a stay-home-mom sleeping only 2h at a time, making oatmealporrige (with some saithe to make it a proper recovery food for the little doggie) and feeding him with a spoon. He has been very reluctant to eat or drink but with some TLC, he's now getting better and stronger hour by hour.I'm superhappy that he is recovering now, it was terrifying to see him that sick. He still doesn't have a diagnose, but the vets think it might be some infection inside his stomach and/or intestines. Caused by bacteria or virus, they don't know. The main thing now is, that he's better and soon back to his cheeky self.

Thanks to A, who has been giving me and Gekko a ride way too many times, kept me company when Gekko wasn't home and been there for me in all the different ways that can be imagined. Thanks also to J and Iines for letting me stay at their place when I couldn't be home alone and E and all the other super people around me for all they've done. ♥

My home is my castle

Finally! You're warmly welcome to my 22,5 square meter wonder. The "before" pics I posted in April, you can see them there. I did the renovation with low budget, but I like it. Still need art on my walls but don't have afford to nice art and have been too busy to paint anything myself.

Happy birthday to my adorable little red devil! One year already, huh? Time flies and soon you won't be here with us anymore and you'll be heading towards new adventures as an Swedish citizen. Let's take the most out of our time here together and celebrate your first birthday!

Chunky Monkey

Remember when I thought Gekko had broken my camera? It was also around the time when that cheeky little monkey boy turned 1,5 years. I had planned to take nice pics of him then, but 'cause of the camera thing and me moving to a new home it was just.. well, forgotten.

Yesterday we were at the obidience class again and after it we went to a beach with My home is going to be my Castle -blog's A to take those pics. Since Gekko's overwhelming love towards A makes it impossible for her to handle Gekko, the picture taking was left to her. So thanks a million A!
And for those who are waiting the new pics of my home I can say that it's not done yet. On Saturday I almost finished the kitchen. I could do more in there, but I'm not sure what I want now so at least for some time it will stay as it now is. The doorway/hall/call-it-what-you-want is still unfinished and won't be done until J comes back from Scotland. I don't own a drill so I need his help and can't do anything before he comes back.
And for the top of it all I still don't have an internet access at home. Well I do have the internet, but my laptop's net card is broken, thanks to the striped brown dog also shown in this post.. So try to bare with this painfully slow posting frequency.

Small post

A week has passed again without any new post, sorry for that. I've been very busy and also the day I decided to post the "what's in your bag" -post, I realized that my beloved Tazmanian devil dog Gekko had broken my new Canon. So maybe the next pic I will post after fixing my camera will be about my new bull terrier fur gloves... They really say you can't live without dogs huh? Makes you think...
Nah, Gekko is my darling. Causes more grey hair on my head than it's even legal, ashames me in public by farting in bus, whining and jumping to greet people when he shouldn't but still is the loveliest dog in my life. My little monkey child.Ps. Can someone tell me why some of the pics I put here can be clicked larger and some can't?

Flu

For the last week I have stayed home sick and tried to get rid of the most aggressive flu I have had since childhood. I had to close my shop because of that and spend pretty much all my time sleeping or just laying on the bed.

I'm still not well, but at least I got rid of the fever.

Dogs felt tired also. The spring sun made Iines yawn.

On Wednesday when coming home from health center I stopped by to our local flea market to see if there was anything to cheer me up. And there was! 3 pretty glass jars I immediately had to take with me.

Also got mail from ASOS... Black wet-look leggings and Blondie necklace!!!

And what comes to my February challenge, I have managed to stay in schedule despite of being sick, out of my daily rythm and also very tired all the time. Yay me!!
