Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Today was a day filled with lazy hours under the sun.
Accompanied with the sun, my day also included 1,5 hour long bicycle ride to my parent's house. I had my raddest bike, M.I.A. screaming loud on my iPod, floral dress and the scent of the sea in my nose. Isn't that perfection or what?

Bike love
So yes, like some of you might have guessed, that cardboardbox in my last post hid my brand new Rainbow Bike in it. And I'm going to keep it hidden from you guys for a while still. Why, since you've all seen the pic of it earlier this month? Well, it wouldn't really be my bike, unless I did some customising to it!
Few parts were missing from the package and I have only started my DIYs last night, so it will take some time untill I'm satisfied. But here's something that has inspired me a lot while planning my Rainbow's final look.

In my Moleskine...
..I wrote "More" and "Less" lists for the year 2010.
My lists for example included parts:
Less spending money on idiotic things &
More spending money on cool things.
The "Less"-part is a desperate attempt to keep my mind focused on the fact that I'm constantly broke and shouldn't really buy stuff that I don't really need. I want to focus on things that I really need and will enjoy longer.
And what comes to the "More"-part..
I have been very good with that one! Started already and this bike, the coolest bike on the fucking planet, will soon be mine!!! Oh I'm in looooove and can't wait to get it home! It's a magical rainbow bike and I'm going to rule the streets of Helsinki with that beauty starting next spring. Also if you look closer, my Rainbow wonder has no speeds which means I'm gonna have hell of a muscles too by the end of the summer.

My new toy
This weeks Monday I came back to work from my Sthlm trip and I was ready start cleaning the place because some renovation "accident". But what did I found when I opened my shops door?
BF had found me a beach cruiser from sale and bought it for me as a surprise gift!! And he had also cleaned the shop and loaded my fridge and freezer full with food and goodies! Could my week start any better? No!
No mess. No dust all over the place. But THIS!!!!

Lowriders
Spring is here and it's again time to drool some bikes. For couple of years I've been dreaming about my own customised lowrider, but because some boring money problems and bad timings, I still don't own one.
As a starter, I want a chome lowrider that I can customise and make it look like me. I haven't made up my mind yet, wether I want to paint it with pale pink glittery paint or just leave shiny chrome. I will change some parts to golden twisted ones (or maybe silver?) and then ofcourse some girly streamers are must-have. Grips and saddle has to be leopard print and tires maybe pink, white or black. Some mirrors and horns too and those little colourful plastic pearls every kid had on their bikes wheels in the 80's.
I haven't managed to find many cute bike pics online, but here's some. Not girly, but quite nice.
This one is cool, wrong colour and too little accessories (if you can use that word with bikes?), but I like the idea.

I love those golden parts! White tires are nice too, but green grips and other are terrible, 100% a boy bike and not suitable for a girl like me.

This is a pretty all chrome bike. Love the spare tire on the back and horn. Very cool bike and both girls and boys would look super driving with that.

Not even a lowrider, but this Nirve bike is so pretty on this pic. The whole picture is so pretty and makes you in a good mood, so I had to post it in here. Well, maybe that helmet isn't so pretty, but safety is important.
